Within the next few years new animals and other
items were designed. They employ a number of
wood carving families in Indonesia and Northern
Thailand, working with them on a fair trade
basis to better their lives and the life of
their community.
The line has grown to include something for
everybody: from fairytale dragons, lifelike
iguanas, grizzly bears, moose, a set of cute
snails and a number of comical moose. The
latest addition was an exquisitely carved maple
leaf.
Wood comes from either Indonesia or Thailand
and can be waru, suar or pine.
